Without listing too much of the Bible, our statement of faith can be summarized as follows (We do have full copies that are available for those who wish to read it all):
I. Of the Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible to be the truth without error and, therefore, the only complete and final revelation of the will of God to man. We recognize that the “King James” version is trustworthy, accurate, and reliable and we require it to be used in all church ministries. (Psalms 12:6-7, Revelation 22:18-19)
II. Of the True God
We believe that God is supreme in His person, eternal in His being, absolute in His attributes, glorious in His perfection, and sovereign in His will. God is the Creator of not only man, but the entire universe and upholds all things by the Word of His power. We believe in the Trinity of the God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; that they are co-eternal, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent and immutable. (Exodus 3:14, Proverbs 15:3, Revelation 21:6)
III. Of Salvation
We believe that salvation is wholly by God’s grace and not by man’s works; that Jesus Christ came into the world to make full atonement for sinners by His shed blood, death, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven. We believe that man must personally repent of his sins and accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour in order to receive the free gift of eternal life and by doing so is indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God; that man is saved only once and that there is no other way of salvation for sinful man. (John 1:12-13, Romans 5:8, Ephesians 2:8-9)
IV. Of Heaven and Hell
We believe that Heaven and Hell are literal, eternal places, prepared by God; that every person has a soul of eternal duration; that Heaven is a place of eternal joy and happiness for those who are saved by the grace of God. We also believe that those who refuse God’s grace will abide in Hell forever, eternally separated from God. (Luke 16:19-31, Revelation 20:10-15)
V. Of Missions
Because all lost souls are destined for eternal punishment in Hell, we believe we have the responsibility to show others through our lives and through God’s Word that they too can be saved by the grace of God. (Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 10:14-15)
